Getting settled into a small apartment and I got my first actual work assignment for my assistantship. I'm updating a course listing for the department and adding an index. My first readings are due for class on Sept. 7th. The books for the class arrived from an amazon.com seller so I'll be on my way to some heavier (non-New Yorker) reading about organizations. Soon, I'm headed to the campus computer store for a new macBook to assist all my "work" and make me portable.
I found Pandora radio again and it's combining my favs, The Cowboy Junkies, with Natalie Merchant and the Cranberries...not sure what to make of it.
Well, more to come. Ohhh, I've applied to be an RA type again in the apartments. This "paying rent" business is, as Alex B. says, for the birds. I hope I'm qualified;)
